Meet the Coaches
Owner, Operator, and Head Coach ~ Amy Barry
Coach Amy has 4 children of her own. With 24 years coaching experience and 7 years as a gymnast, she has had the opportunity to see girls through all levels and says she loves every level. You can find her cheering on the donkey kick with just as much enthusiasm as when a gymnast nails the Yurchenko on the vault. Amy has a strong Christian faith and her family has taken in many little ones in need. Coach Amy is a dedicated mom, wife and coach that loves what she does, but loves the kids she works with more.
Advanced Teams Assistant Head Coach ~ Kevin Barry
Coach Kevin joins his wife Amy in preparing the advanced teams for the higher level competitions. Although his primary career is with Avista, for 9 years he has taken time in the evenings to assist in coaching the advanced teams with the most difficult of skills. He is a fundamental part of the coaching team and SJGA.
Jordan has been with us for almost a year. She is extremely good with all levels. Yet, she shines with our little ones. She is kind and encouraging and we very blessed to have her on our team.
Ashley is has stepped up and helped out with our non-team classes. She has become an important part of the coaching team and SJGA.
Assistant Coach ~ Kali
Although Kali is new to our coaching staff she has become a fundamental part of the coaching team and SJGA. She is very good at encouraging all our littlest gymnasts to do their best while having fun.
